MPNAG ensures ‘no child shall be left behind’, Project SHARP to help 100 Neptalians

TO HELP the senior high school (SHS) students to pass their first semester subjects, Mataas na Paaralang Neptali A. Gonzales (MPNAG) has re-launched one of its flagship programs, the Project SHARP or Project Senior High Achievement, Readiness, and Proficiency on March 23.

This year, it is expected that more than 180 students will take the examination from Grades 11 and 12 including those irregular students and transferees.

Mr. Rhyan O. Medina, assistant school principal II, expressed optimism that more SHS students will benefit from Project SHARP targeting 20 to 40 percent increase in the passing rate as compared to last year’s 72.66% or 194 out of 267 takers.

The virtual launch was participated in by SHS teachers, parents and student-beneficiaries from Grades 11 and 12.

Meanwhile, Mr. Anthony Augusto Garcia, public schools district supervisor and in-charge of MPNAG, commended the school specifically, the Senior High School for conducting the said activity emphasizing its adherence to the division’s mantra, “Batang Mandunong, Walang Maiiwan, Lahat Kabahagi ng Bilang”.

He encouraged the parents and learners to strengthen their cooperation and coordination with the administrators and teachers for the school to create more programs, projects, and activities that will help them to succeed.

The project proponents has also expressed their gratitude to the school principal, Mr. Henry A. Sabidong, for his all-out support to the program to help our learners in their studies.
