IN FULL THROTTLE: Talamitam goes online

TO KEEP the learning community informed, the Schools Division of Mandaluyong through its Division News and Editorial Board and in coordination with the ICT Unit, has shifted in full throttle with its digitization efforts.
Talamitam, the official division newsletter which was launched last January 2021, will now be available via https://talamitam.online.
Talamitam, which means to express and to utter, will serve as an important tool in keeping the school community informed on the significant milestones of the Division and its public elementary and secondary schools in the City.
The newsletter will also provide a venue to SDO officials, school leaders, teachers and learners to showcase their journalistic writing skills by sharing timely articles on the SDO and schools’ various programs, projects and activities, which are designed to cater the needs of the school populace.
Furthermore, the newsletter will also serve as publicity material for various developments and improvements in the school locality.
According to Dr. Romela M. Cruz, officer in-charge (OIC), Office of the Schools Division Superintendent, “our dream here in Mandaluyong is to have a vehicle, the means of communication where we can tell our people the undertakings of our leaders in improving the education services in the division.”
Cruz hopes that Talamitam will serve as a light and be the bridge of each other’s development.
