MPNAG to strengthen teachers’ proficiency, launches Project SPARKLE

TO HELP the Araling Panlipunan teachers in providing the students with the highest quality of education in line with the school’s Learning Recovery and Continuity Plan (LRCP), Mataas na Paaralang Neptali A. Gonzales (MPNAG) has launched one of its flagship programs, the Project SPARKLE or Project Strengthening the Proficiency, Achievements, Readiness, Knowledge, Leadership, and Experiences of Araling Panlipunan Teachers on December 2, 2022.

The said project envisions to gear-up the AP teachers in different areas of the teaching and learning process which includes but is not limited to leadership, pedagogy, research, assessment, classroom management, and many others.

Mr. Junior S. Lim, the project proponent, expressed optimism that the said program will help all the AP teachers to develop a teaching mechanism that will help the students in bridging the learning gaps created by the two years pandemic.

For this school year, the project will focus on the Utilization of Assessment Data through Action Plan and Self-Reflection in Modifying AP teachers’ teaching and learning practices and programs.

The launching was attested by the school principal, Mr. Henry A. Sabidong, PSDS In-Charge, Mr. Anthony Augusto M. Garcia, department heads, proponents, and all the AP teachers, both from Junior High and Senior High Schools.

Sabidong also expressed his appreciation to the AP department for coming up with the said project based on gathered data.

The school head emphasized the importance of using the E-SAT or the Electronic Self-Assessment Tool for Teachers as this can help in creating programs, projects, and activities that will address the needs of both teachers and students to deliver the highest quality of education.

Meanwhile, Mr. Garcia, commended the school specifically, the AP Department for conducting the said activity emphasizing its adherence to the division’s Learning Recovery and Continuity Plan and encouraging the proponents, head teachers, and master teachers to level up the project and make it as a return of investment for the seminars they attended with.

The project proponents have also expressed their gratitude for the all-out support of the school administrators to the program to help our teachers in delivering quality education.
