To the Graduates of the City of Mandaluyong, Greetings of peace!

May warmest congratulations to the graduates of the academic year 2018- 2019! You have successfully hurdled all the challenges in your academic journey. The sleepless nights and all the hard works have finally paid off.

Surely, behind this great milestone are people who dreamed with you and supported you all the way until you reached this very moment- you beloved parents. They also deserve to be recognized for doing a job well done in supporting their children’s needs, most especially their education. By doing so, you have become a significant contributor to nation building.

Graduates we all have high hopes for you. We are confident that aside from school academics, school also taught you the beauty of diversity. If you tend to look at diversity from a multi- perspective lens, you will develop an open mind and strong respect for existing differences in society. It is very important that you develop that because as you embark on your next endeavors, you may encounter different environments and different people. And with an open mind and an accepting heart, you can outstrip the odds.

Today, you are stepping forward to a new and exciting chapter of your life. I hope that as you make big waves in whichever undertaking you would wish to pursue, you remain grounded and compassionate. Be the person you envisioned yourself to be. Be the person of morality. And most importantly, be the person the society needs.

Again, Congratulations to all of you.

Keep dreaming big!
